You probably find that they do not and that they only check at the appliance. VSB Plumbing Services has always started from the gas meter and checked the whole house for gas safety before anything else, this ensures that you are safe as well as the Gas Safe Registered service technician. You would be surprised at the amount of times that there has been a leak at the gas meter or on the pipework and on occasions the ECV (Emergency Control Valve) has been seized".
